CAIN SCHOLARSHIP FUND
PURPOSES, PROVISIONS AND TERMS

The Salvation Army Cain Scholarship Fund is for the purpose of better fitting and equipping the applicant for citizenship and more a more useful life.  Award recipients may reapply and may be considered for subsequent year awards (not to exceed four years total).

All applicants must be submitted in the office by 04:00pm, March 30, 2012.  Applicant must submit a proof for all possible items as per the following qualifications listed, along with the application.

Funds from the Cain Educational Trust are distributed to college students, residents of Nueces County.

Students have expressed their need
of financial support and their desire
to accomplish a college education.

In 2008, The Salvation Army Cain Scholarship Program awarded over $100,000 to 41 students.

In 2009, The Salvation Army Cain Scholarship Program awarded 13 students.
